1.獎勵對象及請領資格：

(1)本校113年度2月或9月註冊入學就讀之博士班一年級新生（含提前入學、逕讀博班、春季班入學的外籍生）。

(2)有下列情形之一者，不得請領本獎學金：

A.於公私立機構從事專職全時之有給職工作或以在職生身分報考者。

B.大陸地區、香港及澳門學生。

C.錄取後辦理休學、保留入學資格或未完成註冊者。

D.已支領同屬政府部門獎學金性質經費者。

1.Recipient Eligibility：

(1) The first year doctoral students of NTOU enrolled in both February and September 2024 (including the early-entry students, the students directly pursuing a doctoral degree, the international students of Spring Semester).

(2) The following individuals are not eligible to receive this fellowship:

A. Those who are engaged in full-time paid employment in public or private sectors or who apply for admission as part-time students possessing responsibilities related to employment.

B. The students from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.

C. Those who have applied for leave of absence and retained their admission eligibility or have not completed registration after admission.

D. Those who are concurrently in receipt of scholarship or subsidy offered by the ROC government.

2.獎勵期間及金額：

(1)每人每月新臺幣4萬元。

(2)獎勵期間自113年9月1日起至116年8月31日止。

(3)於3年內畢業者，獎勵至畢業當月止。

2. Duration and Amount：

(1) Each fellowship recipient will be granted a monthly stipend of NT$40,000.

(2) The award period is from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2027.

(3) Stipend for those who graduate less than three years shall last until the month of graduation.

3.申請方式：

申請人備妥【申請表(如附件1)】，經系/所/學程主管簽章後，於期限前送達所屬學院收件。

★學院於113.9.13(五)下午5點截止收件

3. Application Method：

The applicant should prepare the required documents (Application form as Attachment 1), have them signed by the department/program head, and submit them to the respective college before the deadline.

★The college's submission deadline is Sep. 13, 2024, at 5:00 PM.

4.審查程序：

(1)第一階段初審：各學院依申請人之資格、學術表現及研究潛力等進行審查，將【推薦名單及受獎人定期評量審核標準(如附件2)】及【推薦學生之申請資料】於期限前送達研發處計畫組收件，參加第二階段複審。

★研發處於113.10.1(二)下午5點截止收件

(2)第二階段複審：研發處通知進入複審階段的申請人參加評選會，評選標準含書審(70%)及面試(30%)，將選出9名受獎生。面試時間、地點及流程，請等候email通知。

★預計於113.10.4~113.10.7 email通知面試資訊。

4. Review process：

(1)Each college will conduct a review based on the applicant's qualifications, academic performance, and research potential. After passing the preliminary review, each college will submit the fellowship recommendation list and the application documents of the recommended students for the second-stage reexamination.

★The Office of Research and Development's submission deadline is Oct. 1, 2024, at 5:00 PM.

(2) The Office of Research and Development will notify applicants advancing to the reexamination stage to attend the selection meeting. The evaluation criteria include document review (70%) and interview (30%), and 9 awardees will be selected.

Please wait for an email notification regarding the interview time, location, and process details.

★The interview information is expected to be emailed between Oct. 4, 2024 and Oct. 7, 2024.

5.結果通知：

★預計於113.10.30~31 email通知是否獲獎。

6.受獎人定期評量：

受獎人領取獎學金之第1、2年結束前2個月，需經所屬學院評量，未通過者終止發放獎學金。評量標準由各學院核定後另行公告。

6. Regular Evaluation of Scholarship Recipients：

Scholarship recipients must undergo an evaluation by their respective colleges two months before the end of the first and second years of receiving the scholarship. If the evaluation is not passed, the scholarship will be terminated. The evaluation criteria will be determined and announced separately by each college.
